SMILE DESIGN

39/F | Architect | Bangalore, IN

01

39-year- old female presented with an uneven smile line caused by rotation and overeruption of the upper right lateral incisor. Discoloration of the upper left central incisor was also evident. Treatment planning prioritized Smile Design and Aesthetics. Smile was corrected using a metal-free ceramic bridge [Shade: A1] involving upper right lateral and central incisors, and the discolored upper left central incisor. Minimal follow-up occlusal corrections were required.

REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE RESTORATION

02

28-year- old female patient presented with food lodgement and sensitivity in the region of her lower right first and second molar teeth. Food lodgement was found to occur due to worn out proximal contacts of the existing silver amalgam restorations, and sensitivity was observed to be a result of root exposure and cervical abrasions primarily on the lower right first molar. Patient opted to replace all existing silver amalgam restorations, and two individual metal-free ceramic prosthesis [Shade: A2] were fabricated for the lower right first and second molars. Lower right first and second premolars were restored with well-contoured light-cure composite restorations. Restorations were extended to cover exposed root surfaces to minimize sensitivity from dentine exposure.

ANTERIOR TOOTH IMPLANT RESTORATION

47/M | Business Owner | Bangalore, IN

03

47-year- old male patient presented with missing upper left central and lateral incisors currently restored with a removable partial denture. Patient sought to have the missing teeth replaced with dental implants. He was a non-smoker, and obtained physician’s consent to treatment, owing to his known 6-year history of medication-controlled Diabetes Mellitus. One anterior dental implant was placed in the region of the upper left central incisor, and the defect restored using a metal-free ceramic bridge [Shade: A2] involving the upper left central and lateral incisors. Bi-weekly, and subsequent monthly follow-ups advised for six months following treatment.

SFIXED PARTIAL DENTURE PROSTHESIS [OCCUSAL ANGLE VIEW]

54/F |Homemaker | Bangalore, IN

05

54-year- old female patient with a deep bite, and missing teeth extending from upper right lateral incisor to upper left lateral incisor approached the Dream Smilez team for a fixed partial denture unit (FPD). Patient did not opt for an implant-supported FPD, and a porcelain-fused- to-metal (PFM) bridge was fabricated to include the upper right canine and premolar, and upper left canine, in addition to the missing teeth. Canines were involved for support, and upper right premolar to restore an existing carious lesion. Treatment plan also included the replacement of a defective silver amalgam restoration on the upper left first molar, with a well-contoured light-cured composite restoration.
